When Team Woodhaven arrived in Guatemala a few weeks ago, they expressed some disappointment that they would not build homes as they had in the past. However, those initial feelings dissipated and were replaced with joy when the group fully immersed themselves in the work being done in Huehuetenango by Action Bible Director Nelson Morales and his family.
The team spent four days living and serving in the mountains near Huehue. They had the privilege of serving schoolchildren in several local schools and witnessed the impact that the newly planted Grace Church is having on the people who have come to participate in its events. Check out this video to see how simply showing up and loving people is igniting the hearts of our teams for Jesus!
