Frequently Asked Questions?

A Community Group is a small gathering of people who meet regularly to grow in their faith, build relationships, and serve others. It’s a place to connect with others, study God’s Word, pray together, and support one another through life’s ups and downs.

Anyone is welcome to join a Community Group! Whether you’re new to faith, a long-time believer, or simply exploring, there’s a group for you. Our groups are open to all ages and life stages.

Community Groups typically meet twice a month at various times and locations, including homes, church facilities, or places around Byron Center. We have a variety of community groups that meet at different times, spaces, and days to try and accomodate everyone’s schedule.

No, you don’t need to be a member of Woodhaven to join a Community Group. We welcome anyone who’s interested in connecting with others and growing in their relationship with Jesus.

Yes, many of our Community Groups offer childcare or welcome children to participate in a way that suits the group. When you sign up, you can discuss your needs with Josh our Next Steps Director to find the best fit for your family.

We understand that life is busy, so while regular attendance is encouraged, it’s okay if you can’t make every meeting. Community Groups are designed to be flexible and understanding of individual schedules.

You can talk to our Next Steps Director, Josh, who will help you find a group that fits your schedule, interests, and life stage.

Expect a warm, welcoming environment where you can share a meal, engage in meaningful discussions, study Scripture, pray together, and support one another. Each group may have its own unique style, but the focus is always on growing in faith and community.
